Data privacy
The form
When you send the form we receive your name, the contact details you give and your message, that is the provider, the fact and the link. Nothing else is collected and you do not need an account.
Your name and contact details are never published; they are used only to ask you about your message.
Counting visits
Visits are counted by a script that this site serves itself. It sets no cookies and builds no profiles. A click on a contact button on a provider page sends one event with the type of button, the provider and its activities, and nothing about you.
Your position
Your position is requested only after you press the location button. It stays in your browser while the tab is open, is used there to work out distances and is sent nowhere, including to this site.
Your browser remembers a station, school or area you pick by name for your next visit.
The map in the filters shows OpenStreetMap streets: when you open it, your browser loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which see your IP address and the part of the map you look at, as with any website. The point you choose stays in your browser.
Listed providers and your rights
The catalogue repeats what providers publish for their customers on their own websites and in their Google listings. Where one person runs a provider, a phone number or address appears only if that person published it.
The basis is an overriding private interest under Article 31 of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and for readers in the EU a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: parents need these facts to compare activities. Nothing is sold and nobody is profiled.
Anyone named in the catalogue can ask for information, correction or deletion, or object to being listed, through the form. We reply within thirty days. You may also turn to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Switzerland’s data protection authority.
Deleting a message
To have a message you sent deleted, use the form again and say which message it was. It is deleted within one month.
